Project Description

Project Value: $2,400,000

The project included the following:

• The removal of a Bank of transformers and replacement with a drycore transformer and connection to the existing bus duct in a 16 hour window
• The addition of a new loop feeder from the Morriset main vault to the power house using 15KV, XLPE, 500MCM wire and required splices
• To provide switching within the campus so that isolation of one half to the medium voltage switchgear can be achieved and the removal of this gear after being de-energized
• The installation of a new 13.2KV switchgear and the connection of the exisiting wiring
• Changeover was done over the weekend
